When physical education teachers try to remove him, the man bites one of the teachers, who dies, resurrects almost immediately as a zombie, and begins the spread of the infectionThe Chaos SpreadsTakashi races to warn Rei and Hisashi, and the three attempt to navigate through the management building to escape. They are attacked by an infected teacher. While fighting him off, Hisashi is bitten on the arm by the zombie. Takashi strikes the zombie in the head with a baseball bat, effectively discovering that destroying the brain stops the creaturesThe Tragic ChoiceThe trio manages to reach the school rooftop and barricades themselves. As they wait for help, Hisashi’s condition rapidly deteriorates—he coughs up blood and begs Takashi to end his life before he turns. Distraught but resolute, Takashi uses his bat to kill his best friend. A weeping and enraged Rei lashes out at Takashi, slapping and screaming at him, but as the situation on the roof grows dire, they are forced to stand together and brace for the coming apocalypse”
