Terms of Service

Welcome to Mangii. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mangii mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by AAAI Studio ("we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use Mangii. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years old, you are not permitted to use the Service under any circumstances.

We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.

2. Description of Service

Mangii is an AI-powered platform that allows users to create manga-style artwork using text prompts. The Service includes:

  • AI image generation based on user-provided text prompts
  • Creation and sharing of manga stories
  • A gallery to browse user-created content
  • Optional premium subscriptions and credit purchases

The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create using Mangii, including your text prompts and the resulting AI-generated images. By using our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

4.2 Content Guidelines

You agree NOT to use Mangii to create, upload, or share content that:

  • Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitation of minors
  • Contains non-consensual intimate imagery
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, or harm to individuals or groups
  • Contains hate speech or discriminates based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains personally identifiable information of others without consent
  • Is defamatory, fraudulent, or deceptive
  • Violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Attempts to bypass content filters or safety measures

4.3 Content Moderation

We implement automated and manual content moderation to enforce these guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice. Users can report inappropriate content through the in-app reporting feature.

4.4 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All images generated by Mangii are created using artificial intelligence. While we implement safety measures, AI systems may occasionally produce unexpected or unintended results. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may not always match your expectations
  • You are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing
  • AI-generated images should be clearly identified as such when shared publicly

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Premium Subscriptions

Mangii offers premium subscriptions that provide additional features and credits. Subscription details, including pricing and features, are displayed in the app before purchase.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

5.3 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions
  • Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions

5.4 Credit Packs

Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credit packs cannot be restored if you delete your account.

5.5 Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests must be submitted through the respective platform according to their refund policies.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The Mangii name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are our property. The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Third-Party Content

The Service may display content from other users. We do not claim ownership of user-generated content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Account Termination

7.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the Profile settings in the app. Upon deletion, your personal information and content will be removed according to our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Content Guidelines
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Abuse the Service or other users
  • Misrepresent your age or identity
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures

Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees or unused credits.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • AI-generated content will meet your expectations or requirements
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AAAI STUDIO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Any content obtained from the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AAAI Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@aaai.studio. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

11.2 Arbitration Agreement

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

11.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the other provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AAAI Studio regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
