Welcome to Mangii. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mangii mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by AAAI Studio LLC ("we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
Mangii is a general-audience manga creation and reading service. Store age ratings describe content suitability and may vary by region. You must comply with applicable laws and any age or consent requirements that apply to your use of the Service. Where applicable law requires parental permission or consent, it must be obtained before the relevant use or data processing. Parents or guardians may contact us about a child's account or personal data.
Mangii is an AI-powered platform that allows users to create manga-style artwork using text prompts. The Service includes:
The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:
Your original works stay yours. You retain all rights you already have in your original intellectual property, including books, characters, stories, scripts, artwork, and reference images you upload. Using Mangii does not transfer that ownership to us. We do not claim copyright in your characters, books, or other original works, and we will not sell them as a Mangii-owned product.
Reference images and other uploads. If you upload a reference image or other source file, you represent that you own it or have permission to use it for this purpose. Uploading a file does not transfer ownership of that file to Mangii. We use it only to generate images for you and to operate the Service (for example storage, processing, and moderation). You may not upload third-party copyrighted characters, book covers, or images you do not have rights to. Uploading your own original art, character sheets, or other source material that you own is allowed.
Generated images and commercial use. Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use the images and stories you create with Mangii, including for commercial purposes such as selling a manga adaptation of your own work on your website, in stores, or through any future optional selling feature on Mangii. Sales you make yourself off Mangii are yours; we do not charge a royalty on those. If we later offer a way for you to sell your manga on Mangii, that would be optional, you would remain the seller of your work, and any platform fee or listing terms would be disclosed before you opt in. You acknowledge that copyright protection for purely AI-generated images varies by jurisdiction; in some places, including the United States, purely AI-generated images may not be eligible for copyright on their own. That does not transfer your pre-existing copyright in your books, characters, or original reference art to us, and it does not give Mangii ownership of those works.
License you grant us. To operate Mangii, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify (for example, generate, resize, transcode, or moderate), display, and distribute your content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service. This license is limited. It does not allow us to:
"Improve the Service" means reliability, safety, moderation, and product quality. It does not mean rewriting your story and publishing it as ours. The license is non-exclusive, so you keep the right to use, sell, and license your work elsewhere.
Public vs private. Stories you keep private are not shown in the community gallery. If you set a story to public or share a public link, we may display it on the Service so other users can view it. You can change visibility in the app. If you plan to sell a work, we recommend keeping it private until you are ready to share it.
You agree NOT to use Mangii to create, upload, or share content that:
We implement automated and manual content moderation to enforce these guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without notice. Users can report inappropriate content through the in-app reporting feature.
All images generated by Mangii are created using artificial intelligence. While we implement safety measures, AI systems may occasionally produce unexpected or unintended results. You acknowledge that:
Mangii offers premium subscriptions that provide additional features and credits. Subscription details, including pricing and features, are displayed in the app before purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through:
Credit packs are one-time purchases that do not expire. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Credit packs cannot be restored if you delete your account.
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refund requests must be submitted through the respective platform according to their refund policies.
The Mangii name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are our property. The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Service may display content from other users. We do not claim ownership of user-generated content, including original books, characters, reference images, prompts, or generated images. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
You may request account deletion through Account settings in the app or the account-deletion page on our website. The status screen distinguishes pending cleanup from completion. Your personal information and content will be removed according to our Privacy Policy. Manage Apple or Google subscriptions separately in the relevant store; cancellation is not required to submit a deletion request.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:
Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees or unused credits.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AAAI STUDIO LLC, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AAAI Studio LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Before filing any legal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@aaai.studio. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration. The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the other provisions will remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AAAI Studio LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If you access Mangii through our developer API or Model Context Protocol ("MCP") integration, the following additional terms apply in addition to the rest of these Terms.
API and MCP use is bound by these Terms, including the Content Guidelines in Section 4.2. Automated generation of sexual content involving minors, or any content that Mangii's moderation rejects, is grounds for immediate account termination and suspension of API access.
You may use agents, MCP clients, scripts, and other automated tools to call the Mangii API. You are responsible for every request made with your API key, including requests initiated by software you deploy or authorize.
You may not resell raw Mangii image output as a competing hosted "manga API" or present our models as your own image-generation service. You may build products that use Mangii as a component—for example, a game, a comic-creation tool, or an agent—so long as you comply with these Terms.
On the API and MCP path, credits are charged only for successfully delivered images. If a provider failure prevents delivery, or if moderation returns a 422 response and no image is delivered, the credit for that request is refunded.
API keys are secrets. Treat them like passwords and do not embed them in public repositories or client-side code. We may revoke keys that are leaked or abused. Free weekly credits cannot be used to pay for API or MCP generation; API access requires eligible purchased or subscription-backed credits as described in the Service.
