Edwin enters the room and panics, he tells the guards to lock down the castle and to find his brother, he mutters that his plan has failed and leaves the room. The young assassin finds an opening and takes the prince out of the castle, his speed allows him to escape with the prince unseen.”
- #6“The young assassin takes the prince to his hideout, he holds his dagger to the neck of the prince and asks why he shouldn’t kill him now. The prince fearfully introduces himself and tells the assassin that if he kills him then all his magical energy will release and destroy the world.”
- #7“The assassin lowers his dagger, prince Elian explains that he was born with this magical power, he has never intended to hurt anyone, in fact he only wants to protect and heal people. His father and brother wanted to use Elian’s power to conquer but when he refused, they sealed him away in the castle.”
- #8“The assassin introduces himself, he tells Elian that he was hired to siphon his power into an amulet then kill him, he was to deliver the amulet to the person who hired him. Elian says “It’s my family, they want my power and will stop at nothing until they gain it”.”
- #9“The assassin formally introduces himself and gives his name. The assassin says “I don’t like being used to kill innocent people, I can sense ill intentions and you have none”. Elian says “Please, help me, take me to my sister in Highguard, she will know what to do”.”
- #10““The name is Rin” the assassin says. If we are going to get you out of here safely then we need to disguise you as a peasant, Rin proceeds to grab the garb, and hands it to Elian. We need to cut your hair, Rin grabs the scissors from his desk and proceeds to cut Elian’s hair. Elian changes into the peasants garb and thanks Rin for his help.”
- #11“The two head out of the hideout and make their way to a hidden spot where Rin has procured two horses. Rin says “We will make our way west through the forest, I know of a hidden path that will take us to the next village”. Elian responds “The journey to Highguard will take 3 days by horse, if we stay moving at night then it’s unlikely for the guards to catch us”. Rin and Elian hop on their horses and begin their journey to Highguard.”
