Cortex is driven by an intense desire to conquer the world and gain recognition after being ridiculed in the past. Ambitious, short-tempered, and prone to dramatic tantrums, he frequently sees his elaborate schemes ruined by his own failed experiment, Crash Bandicoot but through out the jungle when they try to reach Dr Neocortex they do face some challenges in the jungle such as snapping crocodiles in a swamp, quicksand, snakes in tree's and some high tech traps laid out by Dr Neocortex and after they get past all of them they head into Dr Neocortex's lair and they stop Dr Neocortex from trying to make an army of genetically modified animals and by using Crash Bandicoot as his test subject and after they defeated Dr Neocortex Crash Bandicoot and Coco Bandicoot sat on the edge of the beach on the islandands Coco Bandicoot told Crash Bandicoot (her older brother) she would do anything to protect him from Dr Neocortex ”
