TEXT APPEARS: "Five Years Earlier" --- Scene 1 — Adomase Village Young Edem sings while helping his mother at the market. Villagers stop to listen. An old blind man says: Twi Dialogue "Aboa biara wɔ ne nne, na wo deɛ, Onyankopɔn ahyɛ mu tumi." English Meaning "Every creature has a voice, but yours carries the power of God." --- Scene 2 — School Mockery At school, students laugh at Edem because he prefers gospel music. One student says: Twi "Wonfa gospel nnyɛ sika oo!" English "Gospel music won’t make money!" Edem becomes discouraged. --- Scene 3 — Church Discovery During a church service, the choir leader fails to appear. Pastor Kwadwo asks Edem to sing. The atmosphere changes instantly. Anime visuals show crowded trotro stations, city lights, and giant billboards. --- Scene 6 — Meeting Nana Yaa Edem hears beautiful keyboard music from a small studio. He meets Nana Yaa. They instantly connect through music. Together they begin writing worship songs. --- Scene 7 — Hunger and Rejection Several studios reject Edem. One producer says: Twi "Wo style no yɛ old fashion."
