In a small hospital on the eastern side of Tokyo a young woman named Hana went into labor three months early. Doctors panicked. The machines monitoring the babies went haywire — readings so off the charts that three monitors burned out completely.
The lead doctor reported later that the room temperature kept switching between unbearable heat and freezing cold every few seconds. Nurses reported seeing brief flashes of two massive silhouettes — one made of flame, one made of ice — hovering over the delivery room before vanishing.

Then at exactly the moment of birth every divine power in a 500 mile radius flickered simultaneously. Ren's flame went out for exactly three seconds. Rei's ice cracked. Sun Woo Kung's staff snapped in half then repaired itself. Sukuna's tattoos went completely blank then returned.
Ryu opened his eyes.
They were silver. Then crimson. Then blue. Then gold. Cycling through every divine color ever recorded before settling back to silver.
The void fragment that survived inside Ren after Part One — too small to detect — had quietly slipped out during sleep and found a new home before birth. But instead of corrupting Ryu it transformed into something entirely new inside him.

After several thousand years of guiding humanity, overseeing divine vessels, mediating god wars and generally keeping existence from collapsing, Buddha had officially retired.
He had a small temple in Kyoto. A garden. A very comfortable cushion. Green tea every morning. Absolute peace.
He had specifically told the divine council he was done.
"No more vessels. No more god wars. No more chaos. I am retired."
The divine council agreed respectfully.
📜 THE DIVINE COUNCIL'S PROBLEM
When Ren and Rei were born the divine council panicked. Two vessels carrying the most destructive gods in existence — Kael and Sora — born in modern day Tokyo with no guidance, no training, no understanding of what they carried.
Every divine overseer they approached refused.
Overseer 1 — Declined. Last vessel he trained destroyed four mountains.

Overseer 3 — Declined after simply reading Kael's file.
The council sent a formal request to Buddha's temple with a seventeen page document explaining the situation.

The council sent representatives personally. Buddha offered them tea, listened politely and said no.
They sent divine artifacts as gifts. Buddha donated them to a museum.
They sent formal divine decrees. Buddha used them as bookmarks.
They sent Sun Woo Kung's grandfather — the original Sun Wukong — to appeal personally.
Buddha looked at him for a long time.

💥 THE INCIDENT THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
When Ren and Rei were six years old they had their first uncontrolled power surge simultaneously in the middle of a Tokyo shopping district.
Ren sneezed and set a department store on fire.
Rei cried and flash froze an entire city block.
Buddha saw the news report from his temple in Kyoto.
He sipped his tea.
He looked at his garden.
He looked back at the news.
A seven story building was now a block of ice. A parking lot was actively on fire in the snow.

📋 THE ARRANGEMENT
Buddha established three conditions for taking over as teacher and overseer:
Condition 1 — He would teach them at a real school. Not a divine temple. Not a secret training ground. A real school with real classes because discipline and normalcy were non negotiable.
Condition 2 — He would not stop them from living normal lives. Divine training happened within school hours only.
Condition 3 — Nobody was to bother him before 9 AM. This was sacred. Non negotiable. Absolute.

Buddha quietly purchased a small private academy in Tokyo and became its principal and divine studies teacher. On paper it was a normal school. He enrolled Ren and Rei immediately.
When Sun Woo Kung's chaos energy began manifesting at age ten Buddha received a call from seventeen different schools that had expelled him. He enrolled Sun Woo Kung with the expression of a man accepting his fate.
Sukuna enrolled himself. Nobody knows how. He simply appeared in homeroom one morning and Buddha stared at him for a very long time before writing his name in the register without a word.
Ryu was enrolled before he could walk. Buddha looked at the application, looked at the infant, looked at the application again.
