The night the Demon Kingdom was attacked, the sky burned red.
Soldiers from the Dragon Kingdom crossed the border without warning, setting fire to villages and hunting anyone who tried to escape. In the middle of the chaos, Miremi, the wife of the Demon King, was separated from her guards while trying to protect civilians.
She ran through the dark forest, her breath uneven, her heart heavy with fear and anger. Before she could escape, enemy soldiers surrounded her. Their swords were raised, and there was no way out.
Just as the final strike was about to fall, a sudden wind rushed through the forest.
A boy appeared out of nowhere.
He stood between Miremi and the soldiers, holding a sword he looked barely strong enough to lift. His clothes were torn, his body already wounded, yet his eyes were calm and fearless.
